From the perfect sized bags for makeup checks. Utility belts, which are great for looking after your back and large bags to carry your excess items. Plus, how to divide up your kit, and Jenny also guides us through the products she carries in each of her bags. _____________SET BAGS!I don’t really believe in the perfect set bag, it really all depends on the job. When I was a trainee my set bags weighed an absolute ton, I could double as an onset medic & craft 😂 BUT my back health took a serious knock, remember your health is so important to a long career… So my biggest advice is pack smart, decant & buy travel size / mini’s where you can !_____________✨ BELT✨LINEAR BELT(Pictured with Trio Pouch and Actor Pouch): I often find my belt has 90% of what I actually use throughout the day, what I use onset is normally pretty minimal. So I keep my belt to quick checks & essential makeup used for touch ups only. I personally find a belt much easier to move on set, especially when filming in small spaces. Recommended (pictured) products - Any Key products to maintain your actors looks, Vueset Palette containing your decanted products, Powders Pin Tail Comb, Hair Spray, Eye Drops, Hand Sanitiser, Blotting Papers, Daubers, Tissues, Tear Stick, Tooth Pick, Cotton Buds, IPA Spray, Lipbalm. BAG TIP: VUESET PALETTES Decant a checks pallet for those swift Ninja checks, saving time getting out multiple items. _______________✨CHECKS BAG✨SAMAS MUA 04 (Only Available at The Makeup Armoury):This is a new bag for me, so far I really like it - I love the padded & very comfy shoulder strap! I take this one with me for those slightly longer checks, when cast are in the green room or after lunch, the top plastic folds back and you can use it like a mini set up. This bag has all my secondary items, I could still take this on to set or dip in for products & leave it by the monitor.Recommended (pictured) products - Gas powered Tongs and Straighteners, Eyeshadow Palette, Nail Kit, Setting Spray, Water Spray, Selection of Hair brushes and combs (Backcombing Brush, Pick Comb, Denman Hairbrush, Belle Brush), Hairspray, Pin Box containing Hair Pins, selection of Pomades and Edge Control, Wet Wipes, Mints, Removers, Telesis Adhesive Pen and Adhesive X Pen. _______________✨BIG SET ESSENTIALS ✨The Makeup Armoury Set Bag The Gretta: The “everything” bag… Phone charger, snacks, layers, set chair, iPad. I normally throw my belt or small set bag in here to travel. THE MAKEUP MAT: Great to throw in your bag for location, I’ve also used it to kneel on muddy grass while doing checks on the floor. Reccomended (pictured) products - Waterproofs, Sun hat, Heated vest, Hand Warmers, Foot Warmers, Chargers, Sunglasses, Suncream, Tampons, Deodorant, Folding Chair, Makeup Mat, Flask and Snacks.______________✨FX BAG✨ The Makeup Armoury Principal Pouch : I always have a small travel FX bag on standby - the slightest mention of blood, bruise, trip or fall, it’s in my bag… and then some times you work with a spontaneous directors & it just stays there for saftey 😂 Recommended (pictured) products - Dirtworks Sprays decanted into 50ml spray bottles, Life Wipes (prosthetic removal wipes), Ben Nye Fresh Scab, Scab Dark from Stoneman, Fleet Street Bloodworks decanted into Dropper Bottle, Get it Off Removal Spray, Orange and Black Stipple Sponge, IPA decanted in to Dropper Bottle, Sea Sponge, Splatter Brush, Skin Illustrator Palettes in Necromania, FX, Dirt and Tooth, Sunburn Spray, Glazing Gels in Sun Burn and Character 2, Ben Nye Dirt in Ash and Grit applied in Atomizer. _____________BLOOD TIP: Bamboo whisks make amazing blood splatter! I especially like the mini matcha one that comes with a little box .There is no right or wrong way to pack your set bag, just do what feels right for you! Pack for the job you’re doing, be prepared, take out things you never use & decant all the things you do! Any questions about set bags & packing?
