We chat with Corey Castellano, who is renowned in the industry for his broad range of skills and his willingness to undertake projects with unusual requirements. Take Sleepy Hollow for instance, which encompasses everything from beauty makeup, practical effects and the endless task of character design. Corey designed and created an extensive range of creatures over 31 episodes including; The Scarecrow, Sandman, Headless Horseman just to name a few.The Makeup Armoury had the pleasure of hosting Corey at IMATs London, where Corey demoed one of his previously unseen makeups. Originally designed for Sleepy Hollow, the intricate makeup was compiled of thin silicone pieces, layered to create a Frankenstein effect which can be seen below.
