On Set with... Cliff Wallace

With a career spanning 30 years, credits on over 70 films and designer for one of our all time favourite films, Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Hellboy II: The Golden Army’, it is probably an understatement to say Cliff Wallace is an established player within the prosthetics and FX makeup community. His talent reaches further than just makeup and prosthetics as he is also a fantastic fine artist, who has exhibited in galleries all over the world.

In the early ‘90’s, Cliff formed his company Creature FX with partners Dave Elsey and Alan Hedgecock. He is now the sole director of CFX based in Uxbridge, just outside of Pinewood studios and only 5 minutes from The Armoury's headquarters.

We had the pleasure of watching the Hellraiser 30 Year Anniversary Panel at IMATs London, where Cliff, who was the special effects technician for both 'Hellraiser and Hellraiser 2' discussed his time with Image Animation.

We managed to catch up with him after the panel, check out the video below!
